Yizkor Book 5785 (2024)

There is a long Jewish tradition of contributing to a synagogue in the name of a deceased loved one. This tradition derives from a teaching in the Book of Proverbs that “tzedakah saves from death.” That is, when we remember a loved one with a contribution to something living, we give that person new life long after they are gone.

Each year, Temple Etz Chaim publishes a Yizkor Book where these loved ones can be remembered at the Yizkor Service on Yom Kippur afternoon (4:00pm on Saturday, October 12, 2024). To include these names in our Yizkor Book, please make a contribution to Temple Etz Chaim below.

In order to have your loved ones’ names included, please fill out this form by Monday, September 30, 2024.

Congregants should be logged in to see your yahrzeits in your Shulcloud account.  If you want other names remembered, please add them in your account (you'll need their English date of death).
